By using our Digital Assistant app during this challenging time you can stay in control of your properties and tenancies by maintaining direct contact with your tenants or landlord.  By utilising our platform you can also raise and manage any essential repairs and emergencies.

RentiD’s back-office infrastructure is cloud based with all operations including our call centre already home working prior to the current situation.

As lockdown measures have lifted, we are now able to offer services such as managed viewings, property inspections and check-ins/outs.

What exactly is the RentiD Digital Assistant?

The RentiD Digital Assistant app is property management software designed to help both landlords and tenants. It is cloud hosted and designed to work brilliantly on both smart phones and desktop computers with an internet connection.

Through the Digital Assistant, RentiD aims to assist landlords in self-managing their property portfolios. The web app guides landlords and tenants through the letting process, facilitates good communication between all parties and provides access to relevant products and services at competitive prices.

All this is backed up by an experienced lettings team. We are an accredited member of The Property Ombudsman which is a free, impartial and independent service for the resolution of unresolved disputes between consumers and property agents.

Where in the country does RentiD cover?

RentiD currently operates a service for rental properties situated in England only due to some variations in lettings legislation across the UK and our coverage for certain services.

Landlords can still manage their properties using the RentiD Digital Assistant from anywhere in the world subject to a suitable internet connection and any relevant data charges.

As our Digital Assistant develops and as our network of service coverage expands, we hope to be able to bring RentiD to landlords and tenants in the rest of the mainland UK and further afield in the near future.


How long does my subscription last and is it refundable?

Your subscription to RentiD Manage Plus provides access to our Digital Assistant for 12 months and covers one property unit i.e. home or room in a House of Multiple Occupancy (HMO). If you would like to add additional properties to our service, you will need to pay for additional subscriptions.

Subscriptions to RentiD are not refundable or transferable should you sell or transfer ownership of your property during any 12 month subscription period. Similarly, should you transfer the rights to manage your property to a property manager or letting agent the same applies.

You can currently trial RentiD Manage Plus free for 30 days without obligation. Thereafter, you can enter a 12 month subscription for only £12.50 per month plus VAT payable monthly or £120 plus VAT if paid upfront – representing a 20% discount.

What do I get for my subscription?

The RentiD Digital Assistant app comes a whole host of management tools including:

A powerful rent management tool powered by Lettspay.  Each property is equipped with it’s own Digital Wallet that works in the same way as a designated client money account.  When rent is paid into this wallet, the app can track the status of payments in real time. The app will also automatically send rent payment reminders to your tenants via email and text when rent is due or overdue but will not chase rent if standing orders are set-up and when payments have been successfully made in full. Unlike some other providers, we do not charge a percentage handling fee per transaction. Unlimited use of the Digital Wallet for rent and deposit transactions is included as part of your subscription.

A powerful maintenance and repair reporting tool powered by Fixflo.  Tenants can report issues to you in a structured way after the system has provided self-help guidance to cut down on non-genuine requests that are easy to remedy without professional intervention. Outside of office hours, this system is backed-up by the AXA Partners network of emergency repairers (or your preferred supplier) for serious emergencies.

I need to find new tenants. How can RentiD help?

RentiD can list your property on Rightmove, Zoopla and PrimeLocation to help you find quality new tenants quickly from only £114 incl. VAT.  We can help you create a great listing by providing professional photography and floor plans, our hassle free data entry and copywriting service and the latest, 3D virtual walk-through tours all at market beating prices.

It’s down to you to manage any viewings (video call or physical) and to select your tenant from the applicants but we can help with managed viewings from £42 incl. VAT.

Our best value package is Tenant Find Ultimate at £660 incl. VAT.  This includes listing your property on Rightmove, Zoopla and PrimeLocation as well as professional photography and floorplans, our data entry and copywriting service, a 3D virtual walk-through, two comprehensive references including Right-To-Rent checks, eviction cover, getting an standard AST signed and collecting the tenancy deposit and first month’s rent in advance of the move-in.

What other services do you offer?

Everything you may need as a landlord to market and manage your property and depending on whether you want to be hands-on with your established suppliers or being hands-off as you manage your portfolio from the poolside when on holiday. We offer EPCs and gas safety inspections to managed viewings and visits to inventory with checking-in and out services and more. We can also introduce tenants to nil deposit schemes and home contents insurance providers*.

How much can I save by being with RentiD?

RentiD is cost effective enough to run alongside your current agent if you feel they are doing a great job but want more control.

However, we believe you can save over £1,000 per property per year with RentiD versus going to a High Street lettings agent. We’ve based this calculation on the UK average monthly rent of £996 pcm (source: Homelet Rental Index May 2021), a management fee of 10% and purchasing some essential, mandatory items like an electrical and gas safety inspection.

For properties inside of London where private rents average £1,596 pcm and some High Street lettings agents are charging upwards of 22% fees, your savings could run to over £4,000 per year.

In terms of a tenant finding only service, we can help you easily save over £1,000 per property per year versus going to a High Street lettings agent. We’ve based this calculation on the UK average monthly rent of £996 pcm (source: Homelet Rental Index May 2021), a tenant fee of 10% of the annual rent and the additional ‘admin’ fees charged by agents that cover referencing, contracts and dealing with move-in monies.

Even versus other online agents we can help you save. With RentiD you can list your property on Rightmove, Zoopla and PrimeLocation for less than the price of a most of our competitors. Not to mention you are getting access to our Digital Assistant app as well.

What’s the catch?

There is no catch. Our costs are up-front, transparent and fixed. If your properties are in London we do not hike up our prices unlike some of our competitors. Unlike other providers, we do not charge a percentage handling fee for rent and deposit payment transactions. Unlimited use of the RentiD Digital Wallets assigned to your properties is included as part of your subscription.

All we ask is that on top of your subscription you ensure your tenants are comprehensively referenced by us should you wish to purchase any of our insurance based products like Rent Guarantee and Eviction cover or enable your tenants to buy Nil Deposit policies.

Property Managers

I’m a property manager who markets and manages properties on behalf of landlords. Can I use RentiD?

Sure thing!  You can enjoy all the benefits of RentiD to help save you hassle, risk and cost to free up your time.  We do however ask property managers to secure confirmation from their landlords that they have permission to let their properties.  It’s a little extra procedure at registration but necessary to prevent unauthorised subletting and for greater transparency.  If you are a property manager and have further questions, please contact our Business Development Team at


Is my personal data safe with RentiD?

We take the responsibility that comes with holding our customers’ data very seriously.  RentiD runs and stores all documents in an environment that is certified for all major privacy and security standards.  Furthermore, we are registered with the Information Commissioners Office.  For our data privacy policy click here.

How are payments handled by RentiD?

On-line payments for subscriptions to RentiD and add-on services are handled by Stripe – a global payments provider trusted by millions of businesses worldwide including many famous UK online retailers. Our telephone payments are handled by Worldpay, a top 5 global payments provider also used by over a million businesses worldwide.  Both Stripe and Worldpay safe keep all our customers’ payment card details.  RentiD is PCI (Payment Card Industry) security compliance certified.
