Does RentiD facilitate the management of Holding Deposits?

RentiD and its Digital Assistant does not facilitate the payment of Holding Deposits which effective from 1st June 2019 must be refundable and capped at one weeks rent.

If you would like to charge potential tenants a holding deposit, you will need to do this outside of the Digital Assistant system, although the in-built messenger function can assist with communicating your requirements.  RentiD will not mediate any disputes between landlords and tenants over the refunding of holding deposits.
